As Riverhorse On Main’s Executive Chef since 2004, Celebrity Chef Seth Adams and business partner, Dave Spence, took advantage of an opportunity to purchase the popular Main Street eatery in 2011. Together, the two transformed the atmosphere into the trendy, urban setting it is today, focusing on creating memorable dining experiences.

Chef Adams began his culinary career as a teenager, working in catering. Those summer and weekend catering jobs led Adams, a Pittsburgh native, to culinary school and it was skiing that cemented him to Utah. At Riverhorse, Adams keeps his guests happy by maintaining consistency in offering long-standing, crowd-pleasing favorites, but also expressing his sense of creativity and experimenting with flavors and ingredients that reflect the season and his own inspiration. Adams’ passion for creation and proven recipes have garnered him some of the highest accolades in the industry.

Corporate Executive Dave Spence, has a proven track record and love for growing businesses. A Missouri native, Spence purchased Alpha Packaging at the age of 26, and, under his ownership, expanded the company from 15 to 800 employees. Spence resigned as president of Alpha Packaging in 2011 to run for Missouri governor on the Republican ticket. The democratic incumbent retained the position and Spence returned to the corporate world as CEO for Legacy Pharmaceutical Packaging, a $40 million company with more than 250 employees.

Their successful business partnership and friendship has maintained Riverhorse On Main’s long-standing reputation as one of the country’s premier dining establishments.
